and it twists and turns as if circling the drain.
on the wooden floors, speaks a mumbled word to echo in the silence of the room.
then turns and turns gathering up the mud on the floor.
wore it's skin as a cloth, clutched it's grip and stretched it onto it's bones.
then these bells crumbled onto my ears.

it's time!

gather up the steps, nail them up the trunks


and it stood up, it as i am.
It took my eyes and ears again, as it always was.

Come out!

here boy, up the ladder..

And i would think up the steps,
just a ghost,
a shell,
ashes of a fire long burned out.


here, i hid from all of You!
Where all that i am is none but a dim reflection
a forgotten expression of will

Excites all but it's center.

Asked me why am i not showing myself;
I is for irrelevant
insignificant I
I stand to oppose the nothingness that i am with everything that i am NOT

And i sit here/
carving some meaning onto this burned ashes of stone and tree.

Carved it to suggest there is a life behind the door,
but there was never anything but the letters on the wall.

And i dwell here, in the walls,
waiting...
